Variant is a variable typeface designed with display use in mind. The typeface features six weights in “traditional” .otf formats in addition to the variable file. Variant includes Latin characters, punctuations, stylistic alternates and some additional symbols.
Variant is a self-initiated project initiated to explore typography and type design as a practice. As a professional graphic designer and type hobbyist, this project began as a self-initiated effort to explore the techniques and tools of type design.
