Vahap approached us with their passion for coffee, hospitality, and local heritage. Vahap’s team had many stories they wanted to share with their customers through their brand. From their skills in brewing coffee to the local heritage of their refurbished building.

We designed a brand identity that would evolve with the brand’s necessities. The visual system features three main categories: Heritage, Informative, and Hospitality.

Located at the center of Yaowarat, Bangkok’s Chinatown, Vahap is full of cultural heritage. The brand’s logo is inspired by the building and local signage typography. Additionally, graphic stamps were designed using the pattern of the building’s facade to be used on packaging.

The informative treatments were designed to showcase Vahap’s passion for coffee. We designed a graphic system inspired by Vahap’s mark to be used as a graph. This system was used as the brand’s coffee card template.

As Vahap also focuses on hospitality, the chicken illustration is to make the brand more approachable for the customers. The chicken has also become a recognizable part of Vahap’s identity. When applied, each of the treatments would portray a specific part of Vahap’s core values: Hertiage, Informative, and Hospitality. Vahap’s brand will evolve to reflect the values they uphold the most through the brand’s applications.
