Timelines is a project initiated as part of the Saphan Khwai variety exhibition by SMM (Studio Marketing Materials) during Bangkok Design Week 2023.
Bangkok has been rapidly growing as a result of urbanization for years, often resulting in local communities being replaced by skyscrapers and condominiums. The Saphan Khwai area is no different. Each moving square represents a different time throughout a condominium in Saphan Khwai’s construction. Each timeline is constantly replacing and being replaced by one another, showing the importance of both remembering the old and developing the new.
