I was asked to create the visuals and cover design for YXJEE’s song, Feel that Tingle, released in 2022 on Spotify.
The main focus of the visual style was to portray the abstract feeling of “tingling”. Tingling is defined as a prickling sensation and is often associated with the feeling of anticipation. The visuals were made using a variety of close-up shots of flowers layered on top of each other. Flowers were chosen because of their organic and prickly aesthetic. The various distortion methods by layering and blurring the videos were intended to create an abstract form that would invite curiousity.
